This study aims to analyze the scope of Akidah Akhlak (Islamic Faith and Morals) materials in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (Islamic Elementary School) in the Merdeka and 2013 curricula. The research method employed is a literature study by collecting and examining documents related to the Akidah Akhlak curriculum in MI, such as curriculum guidelines, teacher handbooks, and other sources. The analysis was conducted by comparing the presentation, grouping, and coverage of Akidah Akhlak materials in both curricula. The results show that although there are differences in the presentation of materials, both the Merdeka curriculum and the 2013 curriculum are sufficiently comprehensive in covering important aspects of faith and morals, such as the shahada (Islamic creed), pillars of faith, attributes of Allah, beautiful names of Allah, noble characters, manners, and exemplary stories. Both curricula also emphasize the aspects of habituation and role modeling in daily life and integrate the values of faith, morals, and manners into student activities. It can be concluded that the Akidah Akhlak materials in MI are adequate to instill a solid foundation of faith and form a Muslim personality with noble morals following the teachings of Islam.
